I was having a really great dream up on the roof. Then I heard that stupid rat walk outside. Damn, I thought he was supposed to be as quiet as a mouse, not

as loud as a rhinocerous. Oh well. I rolled over and went back to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tohru's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I went back to the lake to swim after everyone went to sleep. I'm enjoying my relaxation more and more nowadays. I stretched out in the water and floated, loving the feel of the weightlessness. It's like you're just a small, defenseless being, but at least you don't feel fat! I laughed as I thought this. Pretty soon I was asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Yuki's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

'Oh my gosh! Please don't be dead!' was the only thing that could go through my brain as I realized that the shape was my beloved Tohru. I swam out to where she was, her face was in the water and she was limp. No telling how long she had been like that, I reached her turned her so she was facing the sky and swam to shore. I'm glad I took that CPR class now. "1, 2, 3" I said while pushing on her chest trying to release the water from her lungs. When I hit three, I held her nose and breathed into her mouth. Please, please breathe!!! You can't die! I felt tears welling in my eyes as I repeated the process four more times. Finally Tohru sputtered and coughed up the water. Feeling rejoiced, I started crying and I hugged her. Then, unfortunately, the *POOF* sounded. Damn this curse.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tohru's POV~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A white light....I see the infamous white light. Maybe I should follow it? No, but it's so warm. I feel someone pulling me. Is this gravity pushing me toward my death? I think not. I feel sand beneath me, but why can't I breathe or open my eyes? I hear a voice and pressure is on my chest. Something wet hits my cheek, and I can't wake up to see what it is. I am dreaming right? Right? I start coughing. Finally! I wake up, and remember what happened! Yuki is here he's crying and hugging me! Uh oh..*POOF*

"Tohru! What happened?!" Mousy Yuki-kun asked me while getting on my lap. "You almost drowned!"

"I feel asleep, I guess." I said looking on the ground to shy to meet his little eyes. He finally called me Tohru, but right now isn't the time to be rejoicing over that.

"You scared me!" He said quietly. "I was so worried I had lost you...I don't want that." His words surprised me and I looked at his mouse form.

"I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean too..." What else am I supposed to say? Then all of a sudden, *POOF*

"Tohru the truth is, I love you." The sudden weight knocked me over, but our chests didnt touch, thank goodness. Yuki, naked was above me, arms on both side, looking lovingly at me. My dreams have come true!

"Yu-Yuki!" I exclaimed and he kissed me softly. Those sweet lips that I'd dreamed of for so long, are finally where I need them! I returned the kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I love you too." I confessed after we broke apart. He smiled at me and nuzzled my neck. I moaned softly, and he got up to put his clothes on. I didn't turn away this time.

"Are you ready to go back to the inn?" He offered me his hand, and I accepted it. After I stood up, neither let go, so we walked hand in hand to the inn.
